Limitations Of The Enemy And Limitless Power Of God

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

Daniel, the top most official in the Medo-Persian Empire was thrown into the lion’s den - the simple reason being the envy of fellow colleagues. Huge gallows were built for Mordecai, a righteous Jew who refused to bow down before Haman, an arrogant, powerful official in the Kingdom of Ahasuerus. Joseph was thrown into a pit by his brothers for his contentious dreams and later he was thrown into the prison after being falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife. Even Christ had to go through great shame and suffering, though He was not guilty of doing anything wrong.

If you are also one among this list, going through similar situations, there is news for you. The evil devil puts you in different places to spoil you, to kill you and to put an end to your hopes and future. But we have a good God who knows what to do with His anointed at those times. The work of the devil ends by putting you into hopeless situations, but the work of God starts manifesting from there. The plans of the devil stopped with Daniel, the man of God in the lion’s den, but God went beyond that to send an angel to shut the mouth of the lions. The evil devil giggled and laughed seeing the gallows for Mordecai, but the good God had an Esther in the palace to rescue him and an entire race. The enemy beamed with joy because he thought that the prison was the end of Joseph, But it was just a beginning of the grand purpose God had for him. He gave Joseph the divine gift to interpret visions through which he became the Prime Minister of Egypt. The Cross was not the end of Christ but there was a third day of God’s power. The devil’s plans cannot succeed in your life because God’s unlimited power is at work in you. When the enemy tries to put a full stop in your life, our Lord God opens a new chapter of His glory and grace in your life.
